I've always wanted to serve a mission since fifteen and when I turned 21, that dream was realized.

I served in Philippines Bacolod Mission for just a short span of time. I have been mentally and emotionally sick so I had to come home earlier than expected.

I have occassionally wondered why God allowed this to happen to me, having a strong desire to be His servant & then slip it away.

But I later realized from this experience that God has a plan for me that is greater & better than my own. He loves me enough to shape me into the person He wants me to be.

Sometimes He takes away what we think we want to give us what we truly need and I am so grateful He did that for me.

I'm also grateful and honored to be called "SISTER UY" as a full-time missionary while in Bacolod. I will strive to continue my service in other ways at home.

I know that with Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ by my side, I can overcome any trial or challenge that is given to me. 💓

“Hang on and hope. Never lose faith in your Father in Heaven, who loves you more than you can comprehend. Never, ever doubt His love for you. Hold fast to the Atonement. Believe in miracles. When you’ve done all you can do, endure to the end. And remember, hope is never lost.” — Jeffrey R Holland

“Unlike our love, Jesus’ love consists of active restraint as well as pressing encouragement. His perfect love of each and all spares Him the need to accept us as we now are, for He knows perfectly what we have the possibility to become.” —Neal A. Maxwell
